Surf lesson offered at a 1-to-1 (one guest, one coach) ratio. Private lessons are perfect for individuals or small groups who want one-on-one coaching tailored to their personal needs and goals. Semi-Private Surf Lessons
Surf lesson offered at 2-to-1 (two guests, one coach) ratio. The prices shown below are per person. To ensure the safety of our guests, we only provide semi-private lessons to guests with similar surfing levels. Complete beginners (with no prior surfing experience) are recommended to take private surf lessons first. Guests can come together as a two-person group, or we can pair guests at similar levels when available.

Surf Trips in Bali
Experience the ultimate surf holiday and adventure in Bali with car. Surf trips are offered at a maximum 3-to-1 (three guests, one coach) ratio. We will take you to explore Bali's beautiful beaches and world-class waves beyond the Canggu, Kedungu, and Medewi areas.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept cash payment or local bank transfer (see terms & conditions)
Q: I'm a total beginner, can I take semi-private lessons?
A: If you have never surfed before, we highly recommend you to take private lessons first for safety considerations. After you are familiar with the basics (e.g., safety principles, paddling out, taking off), you will be more suitable for semi-private lessons.
Q: Do I need prior surfing experience?
A: Not at all! We teach absolute beginners as well as experienced surfers looking to improve.
Q: Where do private surf lessons take place?
A: Most lessons are taken place at our main locations - Canggu, Kedungu, and Medewi. But we can take you to other Bali surf spots with our one day surf trip based on conditions and your surf skill level.
Q: What’s included in the lesson?
A: Surfboard, leash, and rash guard, zinc are provided. You just need to bring your swimsuit and towel, as well as water and maybe some snacks to keep yourself fully hydrated and energized!

Payment: Full payment is required before the lesson begins, and payments are made in cash or local bank transfer only.​

Weather & Ocean Conditions: Lessons are subject to weather and surf conditions. If conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule or refund your lesson.

Safety: For your safety and enjoyment, please follow the guidance of our surf coaches at all times. Surfholics Bali will not be held responsible for injuries resulting from not following safety instructions.

Equipment: ​We kindly ask that you take care of the equipment provided. Guests are responsible for any damage or loss of equipment, including dings, scratches, pressure dents, snapped boards, broken fins, or lost items. Please handle all gear with care both in and out of the water. Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
